Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Alarm Response

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location in Johnstown, OH. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of sales areas, entrances, exits, stockrooms, and the location perimeter to help deter theft and other unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and security-related incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Assist with access control, opening and/or closing procedures, and emergency response activities as directed.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$18.50 / Hour

Schedule

• Wednesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
