About the role
As an Armed Patrol Driver Alarm Response Security Officer in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as residential communities. Conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and property perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and address trespassing, disturbances, and other security-related concerns in accordance with post orders.
- Carry, maintain, and handle an assigned firearm in accordance with Allied Universal policies, licensing requirements, and applicable laws.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$24.00 / Hour
Schedule
- Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
