About the role

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Alarm Response in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting access control procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to members, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, financial institution policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the financial institution, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report suspicious activity and/or potential hazards.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity, theft, and other security-related concerns.
  • Document patrol activity and incidents, and coordinate with site leadership, Allied Universal management, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

  • Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
