About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Alarm Response in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Utilities. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting operations through teamwork, integrity, agility, reliability, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, patrol, and incident documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Report maintenance concerns, hazardous conditions, and security-related issues observed during patrols to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
