As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Relations in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and use technology to document activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report irregular conditions
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required logs and documentation
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by policy
• Observe and report security-related concerns, equipment issues, and policy violations, completing clear and timely incident reports

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience required
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law

Preferred Qualifications

• State, county, or city-issued Security Professional license preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $27.58 / Hour. Schedule: Daytime Monday through Friday, 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM.
