Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Service

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location in Auburn, WA, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team at Allied Universal that acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report access-control issues or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Pay

$22.87 / hour

Schedule

• Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
