About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Care in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
  • Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licenses required: subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Skills

  • Customer service experience.
  • Computer or tablet proficiency.
  • Access control and badge experience.

$18.50 / Hour

DayTime: Wed 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Thur 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Fri 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sat 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sun 12:00 PM - 09:00 PM
