About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Care in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, support access control, and assist employees and visitors with professionalism. This is a full-time position with Allied Universal, where teamwork, integrity, reliability, and innovation put people first.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor entry, and following established visitor management procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining awareness of operational conditions and potential security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience.

Pay

$19.75 / hour

• Thursday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Friday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Saturday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sunday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
