Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Service

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activities and assist visitors, patients, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and public responders
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as permitted by site policies
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related activities

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Preferred qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
• Access control and badge experience is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred

Schedule

Full Time. Daytime shift: Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
