About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Buffalo, NY, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and media personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of broadcast, office, production, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
- Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client-specific security-related policies.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$21.11 / hour

- Thursday: 08:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Friday: 08:00 PM - 06:00 AM
