About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. Conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, remain visible to deter incidents, and provide professional customer service. Respond to security-related concerns, assist employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and access points to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Guard card or license.

Pay

$24.50 per hour.
