About the role

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location in Westfield, MA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain accurate visitor and access records, and report irregularities according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of aerospace and defense facilities, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity clearly and accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.00 / Hour

Schedule

  • Monday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
