Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Credential Validation Patrol

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming experience for visitors and employees. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while reporting observations and responding to routine concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and retail tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail spaces, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the telecommunications and technology-focused location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or applicable license is preferred.

$22.00 / Hour

• Daytime
• Saturday: 10:30 AM - 08:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:30 AM - 08:00 PM
