As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control operations. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor and contractor records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; report unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and shift reports while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred qualifications

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Pay Rate: $14.71 / Hour

Schedule: Day Time, Saturday 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Sunday 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
