About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in San Francisco, CA, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, building perimeters, parking areas, and other designated areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to support a professional and welcoming workplace environment.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
Pay
$30.55 / hour

- Friday: 10:30 AM - 07:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:30 AM - 07:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:30 AM - 07:00 PM
