Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Computer Reporting

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. This unarmed patrol role involves monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and providing exceptional customer service. You will use computer or tablet tools to document security-related activities while contributing to a caring, agile, and innovative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the location, including building interiors, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.32 / hour

• Tuesday: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wednesday: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thursday: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
