Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Computer Reporting

About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Security Officer in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. This driving position involves routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, responding to alarms and access concerns, and providing outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential and commercial common areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and other assigned property locations to identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns using a computer or tablet.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
