Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Communications

About the role

Apart from providing security services at commercial real estate locations, you will also have the opportunity to work flexible hours through our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming and orderly property environment.

Requirements

• Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Customer service experience.
• Ability to respond calmly to emergencies.
• Proficiency in computer or tablet usage.
