Security Officer Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Windsor, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including warehouse areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and deliveries, helping to confirm adherence to site access procedures and reporting unusual behavior, damaged property, and/or operational hazards.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing high-traffic and restricted areas, assisting with incident response, and communicating clearly with site personnel during routine operations and/or emergency situations.

Requirements

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications
