What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors, following site protocols for restricted areas and deliveries.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a visible presence, communicating professionally with site personnel, and assisting with security-related requests as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
