Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Ambassador

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Ambassador in Lake Buena Vista, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication to guests and staff. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, team members, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when needed and documenting security-related activity according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to identify potential concerns, assist with directions and guest inquiries, and support a professional atmosphere across the location.
• Assist with reporting hazards, maintenance-related concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate site contacts while maintaining a visible presence throughout assigned areas.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay and Schedule

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour
Position Type: Full Time
Schedule: DayTime, Monday 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Tuesday 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Saturday 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Sunday 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM
