Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Ambassador

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Ambassador in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including the perimeter, loading and shipping areas, parking areas, and other assigned locations, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols and posted instructions.
• Support day-to-day operations by observing trailer yards, dock areas, and high-traffic locations, reporting hazards, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns to site leadership.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred skills

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Pay & schedule

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Schedule:

• Day Time: Mon 01:45 PM - 10:15 PM
• Tue 09:45 PM - 06:15 AM
• Fri 05:45 AM - 02:15 PM
• Sat 05:45 AM - 02:15 PM
• Sun 01:45 PM - 10:15 PM
