About the role

As an Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Suffern, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as healthcare. This part-time role allows you to build a flexible schedule and explore new opportunities using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner in accordance with site procedures.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, checking credentials as required, and directing visitors, patients, and vendors to appropriate locations.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience.
  • At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
  • Valid driver’s license (required for this driving position).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
  • Customer service experience (preferred).
  • Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$17.50 - $18.50 / hour

Schedule

  • Part-time
  • Day shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
