Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol in Talladega, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel at a government corrections-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns
• Monitor access and movement through assigned areas, verify authorization as directed, and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel
• Complete required patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred
• Access control and badge experience is preferred
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
• CPR certification is preferred
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Pay

Full Time position with a pay rate of $14.34 / Hour.

Schedule

Daytime schedule: Monday through Friday, 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM.
