Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and vendors. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail distribution center.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally; document observations and report incidents to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support the orderly movement of people and vehicles around the distribution center while maintaining awareness of changing working conditions and operational activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Preferred ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

$19.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Part-Time
• Day shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
