About the role
As an Unarmed Security Officer with Mobile Patrol in Lakework, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will monitor and patrol a manufacturing and industrial location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report conditions, control access, and provide professional customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers at a manufacturing and industrial location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
- Document patrols, observations, incidents, and access-related activities accurately and promptly in required reports or logs.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
