About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Logistics in Jackson, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and communicate professionally with patients, visitors, and staff. This role contributes to a caring culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to healthcare staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious activity or policy violations, and help deter unauthorized access.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
