About the role

As a Security Officer Logistics - Unarmed in Sumner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as automotive. This part-time position offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
