Security Officer Unarmed Full Time Overnight Weekdays

Pay

$18.33 per hour

Schedule

Daytime shift: Monday – Friday, 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real‑estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and shift documentation.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming and professional environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Background investigation and drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
