Security Officer Armed Full Time Overnight Weekdays

About the Role

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in Lynchburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Maintain readiness and responsible handling of assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, and Allied Universal policies.

Qualifications

• Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Baton certification.
• An armed guard card or license.

Additional Requirements

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Full Time
Monday - Thursday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
