About the role

As an Unarmed Driver Site Inspection Security Officer in Annapolis, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving position involves providing exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property to help deter unauthorized entry and support an orderly environment.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and maintenance or property concerns accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$19.00 / hour

Schedule

• Wednesday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thursday: 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM
