Security Officer Unarmed Driver
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and media location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and/or actions according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or credential checks while communicating with site contacts regarding security-related matters and escalating issues when appropriate.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
