What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter access points, with attention to changing conditions across the location.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, help to deter unauthorized access, and report maintenance, operational, and/or security-related concerns observed during patrols.
- Support order at the location by following post instructions, reporting hazards and policy violations, and assisting with traffic, visitor, and/or delivery coordination when needed.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
