Security Officer Unarmed Driver Detail

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or public agency representatives as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, access points, parking areas, waterfront-adjacent zones, and/or perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and report suspicious behavior, restricted area violations, and/or policy concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining awareness of site rules, and communicating professionally with the public and/or personnel during routine activities and emergency situations.

Requirements

• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
