As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms and security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in the job state. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notifications according to site requirements.
- Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Preferred skills
- Access control and badge experience
- CPR certification
- Comfort using a computer or tablet
- Alarm panel experience
Pay & schedule
- Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour
- Position Type: Part Time
- Schedule: Saturday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Sunday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
