About the Role

As a Full Time Unarmed Alarm Response Security Officer in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. Responsibilities include professional communication with employees and visitors, responding to alarms and access-control needs, and supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food production location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document entries, incidents, and unusual conditions in accordance with site procedures.
  • Support a professional working environment by communicating clearly with site personnel, responding to questions, and escalating security-related concerns to appropriate contacts.

Requirements

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.45 per hour.
