About the role
As an Unarmed Alarm Response Security Officer in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. Responsibilities include supporting access control, responding to alarms and incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with the orderly flow of authorized personnel and guests.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$17.00 / hour

- Friday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Saturday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Sunday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
