Security Officer Site Concierge

About the role

As a Security Officer Site Concierge in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Maintain access control and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with location procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity observed during patrols so the appropriate site representatives can be notified.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Access control and/or badge experience (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (for driving positions only).

• Law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Computer or tablet usage.
• Access control and/or badge experience.
• Patrol and reporting skills.
