Hotel Host (Guest Service Agent)

About the role

The Hotel Host at Hyatt Place Columbus/Dublin is responsible for creating a welcoming and exceptional guest experience across various areas including the Hotel Front Desk, The Placery, Guest Kitchen, Well Being Room, and meeting room servicing. This role requires a strong background in customer service, preferably from a hotel setting, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and assisting guests at the front desk
• Serving food and beverages in The Placery
• Managing the Guest Kitchen
• Assisting with guest check-in and check-out
• Servicing meeting rooms as needed

Requirements

• Previous guest service experience
• Strong English language skills (speaking, reading, writing)
• Ability to learn quickly and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule for AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Age 18 or older
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weights (minimum of 20 lbs)
