About the role

As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Edgerton, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen individuals entering the location by verifying credentials, monitoring access points, and reporting unusual activity in accordance with post orders and client guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to the appropriate contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, to help to deter unauthorized access and support site protocols.
• Document screening activity, incidents, and visitor interactions in required logs and/or reporting systems while communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Full-time position.
• $19.17 per hour pay rate.
• Daytime schedule: Mon-Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sat-Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM.
