As a Security Officer Screening Operations in West Jordan, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen incoming and outgoing individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with post procedures, documenting unusual activity and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support security-related protocols and business operations during routine and unusual conditions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouses, entrances, and the perimeter, noting maintenance issues, access concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry points and activity across the location to help to deter unauthorized access, support traffic flow, and follow established communication and reporting procedures.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
