Security Officer Screening Operations

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening protocols, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals, bags, packages, and deliveries entering and leaving the location in accordance with site policies and documented screening procedures.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report unusual activity or policy concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with professionalism, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while helping to identify potential security-related concerns within the location.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
