About the Role

Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic financial institution location, where you will help support security-related operations through entry screening, credential verification, access monitoring, and professional customer interactions. In this visible role, you will help promote a welcoming environment while responding to site needs with agility, reliability, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, and vendors entering the location by following access control procedures, checking identification, and documenting security-related concerns or irregular activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Monitor entry points, lobby areas, and other assigned locations to help support authorized access and help to deter unauthorized or suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while observing for facility concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies.
