Job Description As a Security Officer Screening Clerk in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. In this role, you will help identify security-related concerns, remain visible throughout assigned areas, and deliver service with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.Screen employees, visitors, and/or vendors entering the location by checking identification, credentials, bags, packages, and/or other authorized items in accordance with site policies.Monitor entry points, access control systems, and/or screening equipment to help support authorized access and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious conditions.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting conditions that may require attention in office, campus, warehouse, and/or other operational areas. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
