About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in New York, NY. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report activity, and provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential building common areas, entrances, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with property procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and other security-related activities in clear, accurate reports.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.00 - $17.25 / hour

Schedule

• Wednesday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Thursday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Friday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
