Security Officer Part Time Residential Building Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the property, greet and direct visitors, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations and actions taken.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence for Allied Universal.

Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• State, county, or city‑issued security‑related license preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Minimum age 18 years for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful background investigation (federal, state, and local)
• Drug screen as permitted by law
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations

• Saturday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
