Security Officer Residential Building Part Time Patrol

About the role

As a Front Desk Officer at a residential location serving older adults, you will provide a welcoming presence, monitor access, greet residents and visitors, and support a secure environment through clear communication and attentive observation. You will help address security-related concerns while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, front-desk policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and access authorization, maintain visitor records, and direct guests to appropriate areas of the residential location.
• Monitor access to the building, receive deliveries in accordance with site procedures, and communicate resident or visitor concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports, and support a welcoming, professional front-desk environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.00 - $19.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Daytime
• Saturday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sunday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
