About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location in Ogden, UT, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while supporting a secure, well-organized environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
