Security Officer Patrol with Active Clearance

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a premier aerospace and defense location as an unarmed officer, where you will protect people, property, and daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help support compliance with location rules for controlled or sensitive areas.
• Complete routine reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives regarding incidents, maintenance issues, or other security-related matters.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Skills
