Security Officer Access Patrol with Active Clearance
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related screening support, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a defense-related location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, exterior areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry points, verify credentials and/or visitor access in accordance with location procedures, and report discrepancies, maintenance issues, or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
- Support a professional environment by following post orders, maintaining awareness of restricted areas, and assisting with security-related requests consistent with an unarmed patrol post.
Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
